Teshas is 25% done with Gogmagog (The Chronicles of Ludwich #1)

I love the weird setting, but the MC (Cady) is just so insufferable. I thought, I would like her - a cranky older woman with a secret - but she's acting so immature and snotty that I just want to tip her over the railing.
I will probably DNF, but am not quite ready to give up on it.

Teshas is 60% done with Nona the Ninth (The Locked Tomb, #3)

So far I'm a bit underwhelmed ... Also I hope to learn at some point how the setting makes sense within the Locked Tomb Universe. It feels very "20 Minutes into the future" with a low key apocalypse going on, not the 10.000 years in the future that I thought it was supposed to be.

So, jetzt habe ich auch noch "Mr. Death" von Alix E. Harrow gelesen und "The Sin Eater" von Catherynne M. Valente überflogen und bin von beiden nicht begeistert. Mein Favorit ist immer noch "Where Oaken Hearts Do Gather".

- “Unknown Number” - Blue Neustifter (Twitter-story)
- “Where Oaken Hearts Do Gather” - Sarah Pinsker (creepypasta)
- “Tangles” - Seanan McGuire (Magic the Gathering)
- “Proof by Induction” - José Pablo Iriarte (Mathe-lastig)
Eine ungewöhnliche und interessante Auswahl, finde ich.
Mein Favorit bislang ist "Oaken Hearts" - eine Geschichte in Fußnoten.
