Just making a note for myself for my review at the end:

The story is intriguing but I feel like the protagonist isn’t asking enough questions?? I actually want more exposition. Maybe there’s a reason for it, though.

I give up. The politics are too on-the-nose, and I just can’t get into the plot. Ellen is a Mary Sue, 100%, and I disliked the last president as much as the next guy, but the obvious references are taking me out of the story.

Loftus was recommended to me by several people, but this is the second book of his I e read that just desperately needs a good proof-reading. Chapter 13 is especially bad.

Most of the arguments are probably sound, but there are so many essays jumbled together, I’m just not sure all of them are trustworthy.

It’s an interesting read, though, if you can get past the typos and run-ons.
