Okay so Whatsitsname’s purpose is to avenge the people who make up his body. Each time he avenges someone, the body part of theirs falls off. He and his assistants then start gathering more body parts to rebuild him so he can continue his mission of revenge. I think this is an allegory for how revenge can break you apart?

Natalie is delusional, but based? Like she recognizes a lot of these systems that are made against women and instead of trying to fight them, her response is to lean into and “master” what is built for women (like her) aka homemaking

Her college year seem to be just hating all other women and it making her miserable.
The homestead part is actually taking me out because of the “traditional” aspect she was so proud of. She’s a tradwife- but a MODERN tradwife, privy to all of 21st century’s luxuries

I think a really interesting aspect of this book is that she’s not necessarily saying some of this technology is bad. She’s mostly warning that we need to have safeguards in place

My prediction is that this is the cool girl book of the year, so let’s find out!!!
