listening to audio version n narrator's inflections might influence my opinion. predictable and sappy. doesn't mean it's a bad story just puts it on my read when there's nothing better. since when is a hospital visitor able to come and go all hours of the night?

I'm reading the new testament section for lent to accompany my Diakonia class on the new testament.

It is a completely dysfunctional family, all living their separate lives but jointly using the summer beach house...so that's the focus of their interactions. What got me is it so perfectly portrays the misunderstandings, the judgments, the assumptions that happen among family. I am only half way thru and I truly hope the author does not resolve everything by having them clear all this up. It wouldn't be true.
