Dora’s hypocrisy is irritating. She assisted India with humiliation of Oliver. She’s never apologized to him for her part in those pranks and rumors. But yet she’s trying to force her boyfriend to end his friendship with Oliver because he gave India a taste of her own medicine. India and Dora are forgetting that India was the only person in Oliver’s life that cared/loved him.she turned on him w/o any explanation.

This book was a little dark for my taste but was very well written. I think it should have a “trigger” warning in the preview. I don’t know how these women survived that level of trauma without therapy. They suffered from 10 to 20+ years of it with just the love of a man to cure it...not saying its impossible but a little far fetched to happen this many times.

I wish there was another book in this series.

The heroine’s insecurities were a little excessive and caused a lot of the stress in their relationship, his stubbornness added to it. She was also a little naive which also caused some unnecessary angst. However, I enjoyed watching their relationship grow. I loved the characters Jack and Jessica. Looking forward to reading their story.

Chad is frustratingly codependent. I don’t understand how he allowed his mother run his life when she was repeatedly doing things he didn’t like. How do you string a woman along for a year that you couldn’t even hold a conversation with? Especially when the sound of Regina’s voice irritates you. You know your mother doesn’t like Mia but you differ to her to contact Mia after your injury?

I’m glad that they didn’t harp on Kari’s looks as much...what was written was still irritating. How can Lou and Faye consider themselves friends of Kari when they think she’s beneath them? The storyline of this book was a tad convoluted. Apparently, Alex is as unaffected by bullets as Luke Cage (Marvel CU) and hits all targets like Hawkeye (Marvel CU). This 1 was ok...hope the next book is better.

The repetitive use not earning “Mom of the year” is irritating. Parents are not perfect. She wasn’t raised by perfect parents so I don’t understand where her idea of what it takes to be the “Mom of the year” comes from but...go get some therapy already.

Jenny’s negative body image issues and negative views of her parenting was exhausting.

If your kid is too sick to go to school because of a stomach ache, how is he well enough to eat cookies?

The main female character Jenny is judgmental/irrational/irritating.

The trilogy was a bit long winded in some areas and didn’t explain enough in others. However, it kept me interested and looking forward to the next book. I’m now a fan of this author.

The asassin plot was a bit convoluted when it came to how Ava was able to manipulate things.

I have a big issue with the lack of condom use when having sex with a stranger. I also have never heard of a model moving in with a photographer during a campaign when they are in the same city.

Some of the plot points made me uncomfortable but this book was a page turner

This series was unexpected but very enjoyable.
