Forced to adopt a novel approach to get through Proust by picking up a second book which I very rarely do unless it’s an audiobook. This is the state thar Proust’s In Search of Lost Time has lead me to! I need a palate cleanser that will enable me to take a big step away from French society because I’m quite frankly bored of it (although yes I will be coming back for more).

What do you mean I’m on page 900 and I still have 150 left?! Feel like I’m in a toxic relationship with this book where I want to put it down but I keep coming back for more. Proust really knows how to reel them in. I’m mad but also having a great time pahahaha.
