Disclaimer— I did not read the entire book — I just read the beginning essays and sections as referenced in them. Regardless, Wilson’s translation of the Oddessy is a gem. I really appreciated her introduction essays and I found them so valuable and insightful! I wish I’d read these when I was reading the book the first time. I may have appreciated the text more!

Just the first two chapters of this book are excellent. I can only imagine what the rest of the book is like!
