I’m really enjoying it so far- it’s not even remotely what I imagined (or what it seems advertised as…) but I’m thoroughly enjoying the characters and their relationships. It’s a YA romance, I’m still looking for the horror

For the sake of transparency I’ll admit I’m not sure what’s going on. This reads like slam poetry and it’s somewhat surreal not in aesthetic or subject matter, per se, but in it’s narrative structure. It seems like 40% of what I’ve read thus far (out of roughly 25% of the book) have been some sort of dream sequences. But, tbh, idk. I’m curious to find answers, though

Ready for it to start picking up a bit

Read it in college in my “The Poetry of Comics” class but it was college so I didn’t pay too much attention. Now that I’m studying it of my own interest and volition, I’m enjoying every panel

Each planned chapter in my novel now has, at least, an outline! Some even are in the editing stages; although the most painstaking by far.
