The first few chapters are amazing, I thought it was a smart satire, I enjoyed the main characters Hiro and Y.T. and their story. For the first few chapters anyway. After that, the story became a drag, with too many chapters full of droning exposition of biblical history, with few interesting side characters and scenes. This was a re-read for me, after thirty years, didn’t like it as much. Great and disappointing.
