Ummmmm, don’t get me wrong it’s not what I thought this book would be . I was thinking dark romance , a little spice here and there . It’s a love story for sure , but to me it’s complicated and full of emotional tension. It’s boring , all way through their quarrels through a damn desert …. And the ending , really !

Lachlan is just as fine as his brother and Lark is amazing clever and then teaming up and falling for each other over their arrangement is a trope enemies or friends kind of to lovers and wedded. Good read !!! Still not as good as the first book in the Runious series but love it !

After reading Butcher and Blackbird this is the best friend and the other brother love , kick ass meet up and story . DNF but I’ll go back and finish the last 8 chapters . It felt kind of the same storyline but the love interest of the rest of family circle and friends . I still enjoyed it , some humor and a lot of fun action .
