These books are so easy to consume. Just a fun read/listen. The narrator is actually really good on audible.

I like the premise, the writing and the characters. I’m just a little bored. The only reason I’ve read so far is because it’s my Gym Read.

Okay we’re in Act II and our MMC and FMC have not even met yet! 😭
This is… I can’t even class it as a slow burn.

The only way I can describe my thoughts while reading this series is: I feel as though I’ve gone back to being a 12 year old reading a book full of adventure, magic and mystery.
The “vibe” of these books are just so magical.

Really slow start. I’m trying to stick it out because the premise is good, great writing and it’s highly reviewed.
AND I already bought book 2 so I now need to finish the duology 😅

This last few pages is killing me. The plot is amazing!

Elsie is a shit friend to Kim. Also the bully is supposed to grovel in bully romances. Just been a lot of SA until now.

Had to DNF. For me… I have no interest in the plot anymore. Just feel like the story is not progressing along.

I have reviews here that I look back on and cannot disagree more with. That’s okay, because I’m a different person now than when I read the book. But I’d rather keep the memory of loving the book, than face the reality of growing up, so I try not to reread books I loved as a teenager.
