This book frustrates me on so many levels, but the main one is that so many things Miles states as a fact are blatantly incorrect.

I just want you to imagine reading with your own two eyeballs that spring equinox and May Day are the same festival. 19 - 21 March and 1 May respectively, for the record.

But if you think I am being nitpicky, worry not. I am a lot more worried about actual historical facts. Ugh!

The two main characters share exactly one braincell between them. When Lydia is not using it, it is in hybernation, because when it is Arthur's turn to use it, it does no have enough oxygen. This is because the blood that is meant to be carrying it continues to reside firmly beneath his belt.

Also - I am beginning to agree with Arthur's father. I, too, think he is an absolute idiot.

AAAAAAH! WHO DO I PUNCH IN PLACE OF THIS GUY BECAUSE HE IS A FUCKING MORON! Can you just stop for ONE second and go to your bathroom, get yourself off, and then maybe the blood that has been located in your nether regions for the past fortnight will finally reach your fucking brain so are able to use it!
