Anna is starting On Target (Gray Man, #2)
I read the first book in the series and I thought the over-the-top violence against the Grey Man was just a hook to pull readers in. Started the 2nd book and no, it's part of the schtick of the series. Who wants to read page after page of the peril of one man? A much better series about spies and espionage is the Gabriel Allon series, by Daniel Silva.

Anna is 45% done with The Moth Catcher (Vera Stanhope #7)
Not one of her best stories. It was very slow and not very interesting. I suppose it is if you are a bird watcher. It had none of the flavor of her Shetland or Vera Stanhope series, which I loved.

Anna is starting Palmetto-leaves (1873) by Harriet Beecher Stowe (Original Version)
The entire e-book is actually photo copies of the pages of this book. I find it hard to read.
