I believe this is one of, if not the greatest, historical narratives written. A ridiculously detailed and well thought out, factually accurate masterpiece.
I listen to this book while working out, and I had to stop and just listen when Simon tried to escape the Shawnee. It was intense.
It made me connect with and completely admire Simon - a man I’d never heard of. Thinking about changing my son’s name…
