I swear the MC has to be told the same thing three times before she acknowledges it.

This book is so annoying. The MC just got offended when someone suggested that maybe it’s safer if she doesn’t conduct her vigilante murder investigation alone without telling anyone her whereabouts.

I’m so annoyed of characters being like “maybe we should wait for the lawyer before talking to the cops” AND THEN NOT FOLLOWING THEIR OWN ADVICE. YOU KNOW BETTER.

One of the characters just used the phrase “fly to Paris” and I had to double check that this book does not take place in the 1900s.

People rave about this book but so far it’s just one undeserved trope after the other.

70% of the way through the book is an interesting time to mention your protagonist can talk to plants.
