Berlin is a genius and it takes a lot for me to say that about anyone.

Berlin is a genius and one of my favorite authors. It takes a lot for me to call someone a genius, something I rarely do. Berlin's insight is bar none.

Great introduction, almost 100 pages, and picques my interest in Vico, Hamann, Herzen, Herder, Disraeli and several others. Berlin is such an interesting thinker.

Nice overview of Biblical principles of government, law and personal responsibility. Morecraft discusses the separation or church and state from a Biblical perspective and not based on humanistic, secular perception.

Bill Warner seems to exaggerate a little, but overall he's accurate. He is certainly a must read. After reading, study, compare and contrast, and formulate your own decision.

Very good at explaining the role of government and the role of God's people. This is a must read.

What a blessing! I highly recommend this book on Prayer!

This book is fantastically bad. The author, a self-identified genius, focuses on peoples' wants versus their needs. He pits "the haves" versus "the have-nots" and tells the have-nots to protest, to desire XYZ. Alinsky doesn't say, go get educated. Work hard. He's ready to boycott and pressure people, companies into buckling because of his demands.

I am just loving the book on Prayer. It's so good and applicable, I can't get enough. Praise God for well written expositions.

Very interesting letters from a woman working in Turkey and before the advent of the Armenian Genocide where around 1 million Armenians were exterminated.

Wow! This book is disturbing and amazing. Disturbing because Alinsky used methods (he calls tactics) of social engagement beyond any good sense, and amazing because this guy was so influential in causing change in cities; Alinksy promoted childlike fighting, "I want this or else I throw a tantrum right now!" According to Alinsky, mass protest was best to cause change.

Reading book 10, skipped the first books. Excellent study on the Lord's Prayer. I may go back and dig into the other books.

The book is succinct, well written and thought out, to the Glory of God.

Just started reading. Very interesting and unique read. A book of this topic has never been written.

Good book. I appreciate the fact the book is short and accessible to all who read it. The author put much thought into the chapter on apologetics.

I like the simplicity of this book. Many take the Doctrine of Predestination and make it difficult to understand, but it is quite simple. The good God of the Universe has Grace and Mercy at His disposal, of which he is the true dispenser of Salvation. It is a comforting thought to be in the palm of the Almighty. As Jesus said, no one can be removed from the hand of our Savior.

interesting book! full of historical details where a President or official said one thing and did another and the author claims the ends justify the means. this is utterly frightening that someone can say and do two different things.

Interesting, yet sad. He had knowledge and faith in his belief system, but not faith in the Creator and Redeemer.

I've heard so much about Alinsky, I thought I would read him for myself. So far, he's correct on somethings, but he's not batting 1000.

Good short book on the most famous medieval Jewish scholar. He held to the Doctrine of Mesotes (of the middle) which allowed him to have some strange ethical, behavior problems. But he was living underneath an Islamic Khalif and didn't want to get killed.

Took over a year to read, but I finally completed the entire bible. I think this is my third or fourth time to read the entire Bible. Reading the Gospels again now!

This seems to be a good book on postmill understanding of eschatology. I'm not so good with eschatology, but I know Jesus is the great judge of all and Christians have nothing to fear and all to gain in His Kingdom.

What a remarkable blessing, from this 17th century Dutch theologian, and I am so happy God used such a faithful man to write such a God-honoring theological work to edify future saints in the Lord.

This is such a long, tedious book; yet, the content is so marvelous, godly and edifying. I am thankful for old saints that build up the body of Christ. I look forward to finishing.
