I know people have said that this novel destroyed them, but Holy fuck this quote hit me hard.

"That night, once he was alone, he cried as well: not because of what he had done but because he hadn’t been successful, because he had lived after all."

I think this one is going to take me a while to get through.

Honestly, right now Charley is irritating me, now am I suggesting that everyone goes and has casual sex with an attractive rich man when they've not long since broken up with their boring and kind of controlling ex? No, but that is Amelia's choice to make and Charley is giving this holier-than-thou bullshit attitude.

I've given up counting how many times the size of the FMC is mentioned... its a lot... the thing is, I am actually enjoying it I just cringe and roll my eyes at the constant "so smol, so tiiiny" comments.

I mean really size difference is only worth mentioning if you're reading monster smut

Was it really necessary to mention "how tiny" the FMC is 4 times in her first chapter... and at least another 5 references in the MMCs following chapter.


I am going to continue with the novel as I did enjoy the first book in this series, I dont want to DNF just yet, I just hope her size isnt brought up multiple times in every chapter 🤞🏻

I may be highlighting even more this time around.
