I find the story hard to follow. BUT, the writing, the similes and the phrases are the best of the best. Enjoying more reading through a writers ears than as a read for pleasure.

As always. Better than the movie. I love historical fiction. This ones set in a pivotal time in our nations history. 1963

the heroic and swept under the rug story of Operation Halyard to rescue 500+ downed American airmen during WW II. The main hero of the story was not truly recognized until the current decade, without General Draza Mihailovich harboring the airmen. Until this decade he was cast as a traitor by succesful campaign of communist spies. Read it. It's important..
