"The story comes to me, as if it were waiting all along"

The world building is top notch! I'm so drawn in

Just got this in the mail today, and I'm so excited for it! Started reading it aloud to my infant son immediately. I predict this will be a story we revisit together throughout his life.

Currently have 99% of our library packed up for a move then ended up finishing my book 😅 Thankfully one of the boxes wasn't sealed and this old copy of p&p I've had since high school sat on top. I couldn't make it through the next week and a half without something good to read to steady my nerves.

Am I the only one who wishes AotI was longer? 💛📚🫖🌫️🍏👒

One of the most disheartening things in modernity must be the degradation of local libraries.

Forever tearing up. Hail, Theoden King!
