This and a comically large tobacco pipe 🔥🔥🔥

I love the TV show so I’m keen to finally have a look at the source material.

My fave character is the evil and malevolent haunted towel 😋

Omg they literally changed the protagonist name 68 pages in 😭

Charles beefing immediately with Mary is so real, because all evil people HATE shy people!! #ShyGirlSupremacy

October = Shirley Jackson.

Love this book already!! I adore quirky elderly women that other people find unrelenting. Love Carmella as well, she is a true friend.

I have a concert and I have to pack tonight and I NEEDDD to get this book finished before my trip tomorrow…. Will she do it?? Stay tuned.

Determined to finish this before my gamm trip…

Lowkey bored af….

Learning from the trials and tribulations of the count of monte Cristo, I will be diligently writing down character maps as I read. Right now a lady has already had 9 freaking children bruh like what the ef??? That’s a lot…..

Ughh I’m actually sobbing ): Virginia Woolf you are one of the Greats

Oh no!! I dropped my feminist literature books!! 😅

I got no clue what’s going on 😄

This whole time I thought that EM Foster was a woman #woke

When your husband invites your boyfriend to live at your estate #awkward

This has been recommended by Malissa and I’ve wanted to read it for some time. Was going to save it for summer but I think it would be good in spring too. Super keen 😋

I’m reading this really quickly not because I enjoy it but because I want to get it over with. The way women are written about in this book makes my skin crawl. If Christopher Buehlman makes one more creepy comment about “nascent breasts” (a direct quote) I’m rating this 1 star. Also, I do not care for Thomas at all! He’s so two-dimensional !!!!! Ugh !! I really wanted to like this book too ):

This is very similar to the Witcher 🤨

“Imposing visions on her of their previous owner- a certain “Gigi”, from the Standard Program, who suffered from an obsession with cigarette lighters and yoghurt.”…. ???? Okay self insert I guess

This book so far isn’t as good as the others, albeit, still enjoyable!! I will be so sad when I finish the series ):
