Ruby is 44% done with The Inquisitor's Tale: Or, The Three Magical Children and Their Holy Dog

I am 4.33 hours into this 10 hour audiobook.
It is incredible. What a production.
Adam Gidwitz is wonderful. I have LOVED everything he has done: including his podcast grim, grimmer, grimmest.
What a brilliant way to make spooky safe and fun for kids, getting them hooked into story, trusting them with hard stuff that grown-ups think they aren't ready for.

Seriously. Listen to this book.
My 10 year old loves it.

Ruby is on page 53 of 701 of Landovel

Classic Rodda (Jennifer Rowe) and her band of outcast kids.
This story is a little darker then Deltora or Rowan but I am loving it thus far.
My 10 year old has finished the first of the trilogy and racing onto the second.
