For research, not intended as a read-through. But what I've read is well done.

I think I've read too many romances lately and tired of the see-saws. So I've put this one down and won't finish it. I think that as the protagonist is teased by the antagonist, so the reader is teased by the writer. Maybe it was only the final straw, but I'm calling 'Enough!' with this one.

Just getting started. But I've loved everything by Charlie Holmberg so far, so I'm sure I'll love this. Great immersion in a Russian village!

Unfortunately, this book is too easy to stop reading. I've read many novels and novellas of this type, and this one comes across to me as unrealistic – in both dialogue and actions. I don't know whether I'll get around to completing it.

Very helpful guide, as are all of the Insight Guides. I love the app feature included in the price of the hard-copy, but buying the ebook and using Kindle or Apple Books works almost as well. We'll see how it works on the ground, but this is my forth or fifth Insight guide, so I have great confidence that it will be an immense help.

As much about Victorian mores and values as about murder and mystery, but an excellent read. Perhaps a little heavy on the dress and tea party descriptions for male readers, but worth the effort nevertheless.

Great story - a few loose ends that draw one to the next book in the series. Good characters, bad guy to hate, dolphins to love, science to wonder about. I had to put it down from time to time, but I didn't want to!
