And finally we have a Jaga chapter.

Considering how amazing, strong and clever Jaga has been throughout the series, I am disappointed that she has been punishing Woland by punishing herself.

But I am looking forward to reading her perspective.

I didn't actually like Ahnna that much in the other books, but she is proving to be fierce and powerful. I am enjoying her banter with James.

"He watched Ahnna's behavior shift. The smirk fell away, along with the amusement and the nerves he suspected the repartee had hidden, and in its place rose the princess of the wildest kingdom in the known world."

Ahnna is so fiery. We are already off to a chaotic start.

"You make it sound like I'm selling you", he snapped. "I'm selling myself. Do me a favor and put the profits to good use."

"Maybe some monsters are crafted from survival. I think Jude was."

This book is unique. I love the writing style and the theater nuances weaved into the writing.

This book is so funny so far 🤣

I was not mentally prepared for mechanical deathtraps. But the suspense is chef's kiss.

It's a bit of a weird story, and it reminds me a lot of the Josie and the Pussycats movie story (what a throwback). But I am here for the Sleep Token vibes.
