This book is so funny so far 🤣

I was not mentally prepared for mechanical deathtraps. But the suspense is chef's kiss.

It's a bit of a weird story, and it reminds me a lot of the Josie and the Pussycats movie story (what a throwback). But I am here for the Sleep Token vibes.

I am captivated by this world of archangels and witches.

"I have never spent so much time with a cypher." The words sounded stiff even to him. "You are..." Intoxicating, fascinating, forbidden. "Very competent."

We have walking dead, vampires, fae, humans, gods, alchemy, witches and now we have something akin to Last of Us. It feels like there is too much going on 🤔 I am hoping for clarity and a more connected story for the rest of the book.

I usually love Zoey Draven books and gobble them up in a few days but damn, this one is dragging.

"I think I have forgotten how to be kind". Grey looked at them as if seeing them for the first time...

"I don't think I ever knew," she confessed. 🥹

Oaken is so sweet, I think I am in love 🥰

There are so few pages left and I have no guesses as to the ending.
