It's been so long since I read this, I forgot there was even a kid in this book...

First physical (non-Kindle) book I've read in a long time. Life without an instant dictionary is tough. Words I've looked up: ephemeral, apotheosis.

It's been difficult to pick this book back up, feeling like I'll never be in a position to appreciate it enough. But, here we go.

We never needed a love interest in this story. Eyes on the clown, Billy.

good fantasy world setup, but in the last chapter, she has used the word "like" 3 times per page on average (a smartphone screen page..) and it's driving me crazy.
