I just read this part that absolutely destroyed me, and just as soon after Allie Brosh made me laugh again. Her first book was one of the most refreshing things I have ever read. And now years later, I still have the privilege of reading her writing and feeling a little less alone. Like there's someone there who gets it. It makes me happy and sad at the same time, but there's something comforting about that combo.
