I want this book to be finished, it's just repeating itself.

This book is getting heavier and heavier. I'm interested to see where it goes.

The scene where he treated his kids toys and books like his children nearly made me cry 🥺😭.

I'm trying not to be a hater, but my favourite part of the book so far was the translator's notes.

Starting this one from the beginning again and liking it even more.

So, I’m over half way through this book and I feel like a whole lot of nothing has happened. We’re getting a lot of backstory about our characters, and this book really focuses on some of the parts of the world that we haven’t gotten to see a lot of so far. However, we’re lacking some main characters storylines and in my opinion that’s caused a huge chunk of the plot to be missing.

This feels almost like a filler.

So far this is giving me the same vibes as a lot of other live-in babysitter books, but I’m really enjoying the writing style, and the characters are setting up to be quite interesting. I’m looking forward to getting into the more “horror/thriller” elements of the story but so far it’s looking interesting.
