I saved the last 10 pages for the daytime to savor them instead of devouring them in the night.

Old man walked by me sitting on bench and he says to me “great book“ upon seeing the cover. I want my own book covers to be that memorable.

Cant put it down. The narrator is so blunt.

I’m keeping in mind this was published 1945 because there is some homophobia and diminishing of women into sex property of men. I do really enjoy the narrators easy flow and blunt way of expressing his thoughts. Salinger has a great way of blending exposition with rising action that comes to a peak and is connected.

Came highly recommended and I can see why.

This is a book I’ll reread for decades to come it’s so fascinating. It will open your eyes to the world as if you are seeing everything from the first time you opened your eyes.

I can see hear and feel this play so vividiy in my mind partially because I have seen the TV series and heard the play read out loud.

Read 117 pages in one sitting and with only around fifty pages left I’ll save it for my next session.

A splendid writer to be cherished for generations.
