I miss some of the faszination of the first half, but it is getting more exciting in another way. This will be a really great to conclude the Hyperion Cantos. And Hyperion really ended well.

It starts so good. Hyped to read the final part of the Hyperion Cantos!

Funny guy. Big infodump, but charming writing style. Lovely to read, but I forget many things on the next page.

This is a lot easier to read. We already know the world out of Hyperion and there are less povs. Nevertheless, a fantastic read. There is strong competition, but the Hyperion Cantos is heading for best read of 2020 for me. If I can finish it.

Starting this long awaited buddy read. Hyperion 1 and 2 just blew me away earlier this year. High expectations for the Hyperion Cantos 3 and 4!

Just noticed I read none of the books I can vote for in the Goodreads Choice Awards. And I haven't read a winning book of 2017-2019. 2 Books of them are schedueld to be read 2021, so there is hope ;-)

Müsste mein erstes Buch von Kai Meyer sein. Zugegeben eines der ersten Bücher von ihm, aber da erwartete ich mehr. Platte Charaktere, sprunghafter Plot, nichts gutes bisher. Auch wenn ich irgend wie wissen will wie es weitergeht.

Das ging fix. Kontrastprogramm. Dicke Seiten, große Schrift. Kann so weggelesen werden. Bisschen kurzweilige Popcornliteratur bevor bald Endymion startet :)

It is just so good. So engaging, many well build characters, fast pacing and giving me a little lough once in a while.

Chapter 14 was soooo good. A happy place after the Chapter before.

I didn't read the last 4 days die to long working hours. Today I reemtered for 70 pages so far. Enjoying every page. And he did what I was hoping for. So everything is fine. :)

Immediatley diving into the next book. Glad it was finished 30 years ago and I don't have to wait.

Loving it. Built on the good foundation of the first book, this one is starting really strong.

Nach der Murakamipause bin ich wieder direkt gut reingekommen und sofort am mitfiebern.

Was für ein verrücktes Buch. Zwei wahnwitzige Welten, der Stil wie bei Murakami üblich zwischen Alltagsbeschreibungen und Spannung. Gefällt mir bisher sehr gut.

It's a Tad Williams. Still a slow pace, but it is only 16% of the first of 4 books, so only 4 % or less since his tendency is getting the books larger while writing a series. Nevertheless, I really like it, I have a sweetspot for his writing.

What a lovely storytelling. Mesmerizing, meandering, magical.

It was very hard getting into it. Why does the publisher keep the italics in the paperback Version. Not the best choice, they could find better ways for the looking back passages. These passages were the part wich made it not easy in the beginning. I'm used to different povs or looking back. This time it does not work for me. Not bad, but but nor really gettigg me.
But after 60 - 70 pages I was hooked.

I'm really liking the pace of this one.

Bin doch recht gut voran gekommen die letzten Tage. Nun sind 1.5 Wochen Urlaub angesagt. Da sollte vielleicht sogar die ganze Reihe zu schaffen sein.

Reading stats February: 1267 pages, finished two books, 36 hours of reading time. Looks good.

Starting March finishing this incredible first Trilogy of Foreigner bei Cherryh. 2/3 of the second book already done, 150 pages and book three counting. It is going to be a good month. :)

Balancing Wirkung, sleeping and reading can be hard. Read 86 pages this week and really loving Invader. Today I'm quite early in the hotel room, let's see if I can reach page 150!
