it's the first book i read that's so sci-fi that i catch myself struggling to try and piece together how red and blue look, what they are, the landscapes they're in, how the letters appear. it's kind of weird, but not in a bad way.

i am kind of obsessed with the writing style, everything feels like a thought and a memory and a diary and maybe a thing Lucy's telling me. i'm loving it.

is she ACTUALLY telling her about Brie 25% into the book? i'm kinda surprised tbh

i feel like IF i read this at a coherent hour, i could finish it fairly quickly. but nooo, it's always at like 1 am or (like now) at 3 am. ughh.

the writing style is kind of fanfic-ish, if that makes sense. but i will try to give it a chance so i can read the second book (which i do have a physical copy of, unlike this one, and it's been just collecting dust for like 3? 4? years). let's trust the process.

i really enjoy their banter and friendship and tbh, their chemistry is off the charts. i'm kinda loving it?

miles feels soooo different from other emhen male main characters, i kinda love him.

i'm reading this faster than i have been lately but slower than i thought i would with a lynn rom-commy book. i will say that i'm not doing my best when it comes to my personal life though so that's probably why.

i love love love having the boy's POV too, this is what i always wanted for wesliz.

UGH, they're SOOOOO flirty and it's so freaking fun to read the fake relationship version of them. i'm loving it.
