Started trying the advice from Part One about encouraging children to help and already seeing a dramatic difference in both my teen and the three year old who has me madly reading parenting advice books. Holy smokes. (We were already pretty anti-behaviorist in our parenting style, but had been resorting to time out because of hitting and pushing.)
