Anurag Lamba is on page 80 of 452 of The 48 Laws of Power
I have seen the review of the book. Some are mesmerised by it and some are outright hating it. For the haters , It seems like a book preparing people to be a corporate jerk. Overall an interesting book will definitely help someone like me who is in sales profession. I must admit I already knew a lot of laws just by following my mundane routine. Will try to finish it in a week.

Anurag Lamba is on page 135 of 399 of American Psycho
What can I say about this book it must be hated by so many people and equally loved by others. I am in love with this book our protagonist bateman says, thinks mostly, all those things which others conceals within themself. An intelligent, witty, dark, deep and upper class phychopath serial killer who hates the world for its ugliness, in all forms, also who tries to blend in.
Simply a masterpiece.

BREAK - UP - BATEMAN

Patrick Bateman: I'm fucking serious. It's fucking over, us, this is no joke. I don't think we should see each other any more.

Evelyn Williams: But your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends. I really don't think it would work. You have a little something...

Patrick Bateman: I know that your friends are my friends and, uh... I've thought about that. You can have 'em.

"American phycho" on one hand, now or in the past, this book must have its fair share of haters but on the other hand it's so dark, brilliant, masterpiece (I think) and relative to the society we live in.

Do not read it if you are easily offended, weak hearted or doesn't enjoy dark humour or reading about phychopaths.

It's doesn't need any build up either you start liking it or hating it from the very beginning.

Hey there! as you must have known by my multiple posts that I am reading world history and right now I am at 15th century europe's renaissance period. Well I have a question: The fact is europe, during renaissance was highly influenced by the Popes, Church and Religion. And it further influenced the European future by the means of monarchs and social structure. Can anyone recommend a good book about it (religion) ?

I am reading world history. I am amazed by the fact that how everything from ancient to medieval to the modern world, is interconnected and is influenced by men in power.
I know that no one cares but still I felt an urge of sharing it, with like minded people. If there are any.

Money has so much power, that it's an ideology, a revolution in itself.

Can anyone suggest me a good book about Indian history including British economic policies and propaganda which systematically destroyed India?

Also books about Indian freedom struggle discussing ideological differences between garam panthis and naram panthis, and finally the partition.
