THIS BOOK IS SO LONG. And apparently the translation was done by someone in HIGH SCHOOL? If I read those translator notes O_O

Reading the translation of this novel that the Untamed is based off... It is full of a million new to me genre conventions and cultural references i don't quite get, but it's interesting! I'm slowly making my way though these stories and am nearing the end. So far they've all been really great.

Wanted something sweet to read and I remembered this was recently revised so I thought I'd pick it up from the library.

I'm not sure I like any of the characters at this point, contemplating not finishing.

this is just the kind of gentle romance i didn't realize i was craving

There is a lot going on in this book. I'm pleasantly surprised so far, it's approachable and lays out a lot of complex topics in easy to understand language.

I just keep looking at the page and going LILA, NO

I am committed to finishing this on audio but there is a paperback copy right behind me and it's really hard not to pick it up
