This is genuinely one of the best books I have ever read in my life. Super unexpected. Crazy period piece. I love love loveeeee.

Okay I’m two pages in and (DISCLAIMER SA) the MMC just got sexually assaulted by a guard 🤮 I am going to throw up I feel so bad for him

This book is so long 😔 but it’s so well written

Very interesting read so far. Tbh her ticks are bothering me a little bit but I guess it’s good to have representation for mental health????

This is actually insane. He’s a sociopath I can’t deny it anymore. But also, why do I lowkey love him 😛

It was him the whole time…god this book is so painfully beautiful. I am so conflicted, so confused and my face is all red just reading this and I can’t tell if it’s from anger, lust or embarrassment

This is such a dark academia type of read. So far I can totally see how morally grey (almost black) the MMC is. He’s so sinister. The mystery is eating me alive too. So far I can see this being a 5 start book!!!

Honestly love this book so far

Specifically in the romance/fantasy genre , it should be harder to get books published because there has been nothing but absolute word vomit publications recently where “authors” sprinkle in a few terribly written tropes and smut with mind twisting world building.

Please, get on LinkedIn and apply anywhere else, I beg you, anywhere else.

I am in love with this series

I am only 17% done and I hate myself because this book was way too depressing and dark for me.

I am so behind on this series it is so bad

I had to put this book down for a bit because I just could not handle it. I honestly needed a breather (aka my fluffy alien romance books) before continuing something as dark as this series,

I waited until Halloween was over to dig into the X-MAS spirit z🎄🎅

I cannot continue, there’s some MxM scenes. Please help me push through 💪

So I am going on another 14 hour flight.
I have many books I hope to finish reading, let’s hope my track record is better for this flight than it was for the last one 😬

Recap: I ended up only reading one book without realizing it was a series and becoming so infuriated with the MMC and stuck on a cliffhanger so I COULD NOT READ ANYTHING ELSE

And yes I am indeed reading the second book now 😍
