Apparently Thrawn doesn’t understand racial prejudice. That’s kinda weird...

The tonal shift in Lift's section feels kind of discordant with the rest of the story. I get she's a bit eccentric, but talking about "Lift's awesomeness" (among other choices of words) just feels out of place in this story.
That said, her highly articulate spren companion makes for an interesting contrast to her quirkiness.
