This is unexpectedly gritty and it is definitely interesting, but boy, oh boy, am I starting to lose count of all the characters and places ... please, book, don't turn into a chore.

I am seriously hoping for this book to tone down the "horrbile boss, can't quit because of valid reasons" vibe and turn up the "creepy mystery" ones.

I am thoroughly enjoying this, and the cold, dreary, rainy autumn weather adds magnificently to the atmosphere.

I... I actually love this. Ignoring some recipes and stereotypes and the edgy intro, it's awesome. It's so reminiscent of how much I loved Hazelwood's first novel.

I'm 20 chapters in and there's still no snow "blanketing the town" and making escape impossible. *looks at watch*
