Wow, this is such a great read. The gospel of Mark with its imagery of Jesus the Lion is powerful. The author refers often to CS Lewis' Aslan and gives a reflection of Mark's Jesus that is strong and steadfast, yet roaring and roaming that leaves you wanting more. It inspires a deeper reflection of Jesus through Markan eyes, but I'm likely to say that at the end of every chapter of this book

I spent the month of April with this guide... It refreshed the reason why I am a Christian, and refocused me on the centrality of Jesus Christ. I recommend a regular infusion of just reading the gospels and only focusing on Jesus. When you do that the whole of scripture comes to light again and more importantly our life in Christ Jesus.

Just started this book. I originally spotted this book on the dinning room table at the gateway building of Freeset in Kolkata India... An intern was reading it. I downloaded it via Kindle and now deciding to read it in my early morning reflective time.

I got this for Christmas two years ago and only just reading... Loving it!!!!!!

I'm reading this chronologically so page numbers won't mean a thing:-)

Another concept I'm enjoying reflecting on double knowledge - know self AND know God.

I've just started reading this book... This a "must have" resource for leaders. It challenges the leaders own maturity in Chris as well as how to go encourage deeper spiritually with those you lead... I seem to be underlining all the questions so far.

This IS a VERY good and essential book when studying.

Essential reading for my first paper at Fuller... How to read... It's actually a brilliant book!!!!
