Emotional rollercoaster

Tek sam sad pohvatala sve i svakoga.

O glavnom liku knjige znamo jako malo. A i to malo što znamo nam govori da uopšte nije profil osobe za posao kojim se bavi. Wtf?

Ovaj početak je all over the place. Svako poglavlje skačemo na drugu priču i likove. Nemamo prirodan uvod u svakog lika i jako je teško ostati koncentrisan i zapamtiti sve.

I know all of these situations are helping us get to know her character, but we know her. Cut to the chase already. I’m bored.

This is much cosier than I expected

Soo I have a theory: she had a little sister that died in a fire that her mother started and they were all part of some cult and she’s perusing this musician because she needs to sacrifice him. Right?

Harry Potter’s favourite chocolate is Mars?? My favourite chocolate is Mars!

I can’t seem to care about this story. But I expect some big plot twist by the end.

Oh Strike, you should know better…

Čija su silna auta u garaži ako su samo dva zauzeta stana u zgradi?

Toliko stranica, a nismo saznali ništa novo.. slušamo istu priču iz tri različita izvora. Još ništa ne znamo ni o Strikeu i Charlotte.

Why? Why?? He didn’t think of her like that? Zašto ovo odjednom? Šta bi bilo da nema prsten?

Kako misliš ti si detektiv i odmah povjeruješ nekome koga tek vidiš?? Daš joj šifru?? Ne tražiš isprave??

Stolen youth, pretty lies, “don’t you worry folks we took out all her teeth” … resulted in a lot of pain and suffering. She was everyone’s punching bag.

Idk what to think so far… it feels like reading a wikipedia page. Everything seems to be easy for her: she was just born talented and opportunities presented themselves to her. She brushes off many important and problematic topics instead of looking back at them as such. And Crossroads is not some “funny teenager movie”. It’s much bigger than that. Her whole experience with it is two pages long.

It’s fun, well-paced, the characters are good and their relationships are progressing nicely. There are still some questions I haven’t found answers for. All in all a nice fantasy read. Might forget a lot after but it’s fun while it lasts.

This is easy to read. It’s entertaining. Very straightforward. There are many things we don’t know about our FMC but hopefully we’ll get some answers along the way.
