After a slow start and starting to doubt the praise, I am starting to feel some tension, I wasn't gripped at all the first 20/25% at all but things are slowly starting to come together and I am genuinely turning the pages wanting to read the next chapter let's hope it keeps building from here!!

Well it's certainly suspenseful, have a lot of possible endings in my head. Is it wrong and totally horrible of me to say I'm finding the little girl incredibly annoying though :/ I can't help it!!!

This book makes my blood boil.... The characters are done so well, even the antagonist!

That last chapter was a tough one to read ;(

It's nearly 1am..... It was my 'last chapter for the night' at least an hour ago, I am seriously impressed! Fleshed out characters and while I'm from the UK and have sadly never been to the US but the world building is just sublime.

Even as a short story it was rather weak, I rarely say it but the writing was a tad boring (I feel awful for saying that) but I got through it so it wasn't a total waste of time a quick read at least.

Rounded up to a 3, the writing was really engaging with some good characters and relationships, but unfortunately there were too MANY characters to keep up with meaning when deaths started to occur I found it hard to really care. The ending was a tad predictable also and I felt like it didn’t really tie up anything. Really interesting premise but I felt ‘Flick’ to be quite infuriating at times

will upload a proper review once I am back from my honeymoon. But in short, this was a great quick read full of action and gore (however never felt too OTT) some of the characters were a little generic and the ‘twist’ will be seen by many I am sure nonetheless i raced through this in two sittings at the pool. Highly recommend

Very strange writing style, been doing long shifts so haven't had time for reading this week, It feels like the type of book you need pay all your attention to, I keep getting lost!

Has a very unique atmosphere, its not quite Gothic but certainly dark. The characters are quirky for sure!

I saw a film a few weeks ago called P3 and this just reminds me of that film, I love a good crazy security guard!

A sluggish start it has to be said, but I can forgive King his writing and ability to create a scene in my mind is just flawless he does it with such ease!

definitely an interesting opening, very gory and such a fantastic plot, the idea behind it is great, its setting up to be a great read, just hate that I work so much, I'd love to sit and blast through some more of this!

yeah the writing just seems more flawed the further i get into it, the descriptions seem so mechanical and awkward, also looks like its heading for a rushed ending. Shame really had a promising start but can see this just being a two start overall!

some parts I enjoy but sometimes its like the author is describing EVERYTHING and not in a good way, I get that Dandes is trying to create an image but some is just unnecessary and like he's going on a little too much, a couple of characters I just haven't taken a liking to full stop! Its playing out like a standard horror movie, definitely could see this on late night horror channel!!
