Goodreads keeps randomly deleting my reviews & star ratings. 😑😭

I was approved for the ARC for book 2, but as I started it, I realized I couldn’t remember much of book 1. So I’m doing a quick reread. 📖

I love this so far 😭 the mystery, Whisperwood, the relationships. Ugh love.

Sooooo good so far!! I love how this one is written.

Reread—I’m listening to the audiobook this time around and I still love it.

My very first ARC (!!!) just so happened to be one of my most anticipated books of the year. I’m already loving it. 😭

While I’m finding small snippets that are encouraging, this book is a little surface level for me so far. I enjoy deeper, theological books that challenge me and teach me new things or new ways of understanding or looking at scripture, but this is not one of them. This is a book I’d typically avoid, just because it’s a lot of metaphors, a lot of basic ideas, etc. Probably going to continue, but we’ll see.

I’ll finish this book eventually…lol

I don’t know how I feel still? I’m interested in what’s happening, but the language and conversations are not great, and I’m getting frustrated with the characters.
