man i really don't like this guy

this is really starting to drag. and feels like the type of story i would make up in my head when going to sleep. very personal and wish-fulfilly and could use a couple more rounds of edits/cuts. i feel at this point im in it now just to finish it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

i didn't realize when i started this that it's the exact thing i needed to catch up on the most important parts of the last 70 years of f1. and fortunately also wildly entertaining. dudes said britain was like brazil if you sucked all of the brazil out of it.

so far i'm enjoying this. not the best romance i've ever read by far but it's cute fun and short. all the characters are a little hard to keep track of (at least on audio) but i'm not offended by this book at all

evander’s intrusive thoughts and frustration with himself for his inability to be normal are way too relatable. his and mine may stem from different disorders, but i’ve felt those exact feelings before. i wish the plot would move along a little more quickly and the prose weren’t so flowery and overly-detailed, but im doing fine so far. no dnf in sight.

i'm actually interested in the plot i wish there was more of it :(
