Not a happy read. Interestingly similar setup to The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle in the whole bunker romance. I don't really like any of the characters.

Funny, but I just don't care. Differing opinions in bookclub about how the dad is portrayed, agreement on the hilarity of the writing.

As of 5%, can no longer kid myself. Cassie is very very annoying and this is children's-reading-level-esque

Have started skimming a lot. Really like Lucie & her family, but overall boring. Also having a hard time with the "problem" both being that Aidan is scared of love because of his mom, and doesn't believe in love because of his radio show. Also way too many of the short imagery sentences that are the over the top and unrealistic.

Boring, but also makes me want to take up birding? idk think I will dnf

I agree with a lot of what I've read thus far, but it seems basic/common sense. too worky... I have burned out from reading this book.

Gorgeous book. Stunning cover. Not loving the content - author is too extreme. I'm not looking for THE MOST ANXIETY PERSON EVER, but just a casual anxiety.
