Tamsin Blain is 50% done with In Bad Faith (Detective Loxley Nottinghamshire Crime Thriller #1)
Predictable but a fun easy read, with a plot that still draws you in despite being able to guess exactly where it’s going.
If you’re familiar with the legend of Robin Hood then you will enjoy the blatant parallels and be amused at the play on names and titles.
The much maligned and libelled Robin Hood in his more modern role as the equally maligned and libelled detective is thoroughly engaging and charming.

I have the series so will read them all but definitely found the book lost its flow at times. Really picked up toward the end and do quite anticipate the next book, maybe this was more of a prologue…I shall wait and see

Loving this so far. The power of plants is magical, although this covers far more than plants! It speaks as if it’s a biography of his life that was shaped by the poisons all around us; rather than a study solely from a biologists viewpoint. It works well and connects you personally to the wealth of chemical references and explanations.

One of the most “real” biographies I’ve read. Looking forward to the second half “Becoming More”

Thank you, so much, Masha for giving it to me yesterday xxx

Tamsin Blain is starting The Sunne in Splendour
One of the best books of The War of the Roses I’ve ever read. In spite of knowing the ending - obviously! - I somehow desperately hoped for a last minute rescue for Richard III. This book depicts him as anything but a villain.

Fantastic!!!! I’m not doing a proper review for this one, it would be too spoilery! (New word!)
But brilliant, the cover says enough, the killer is on the jury!

This series has captivated me. Im at a loss to explain what I find do engaging but Lucinda Riley's writing wholly absorbs me.
I'm loving discovering CeCe's story in this series. She becomes a far more likeable character with a lot more depth, as opposed to the obnoxious, bolshy, control freak depicted in the previous 3 books.
