A great book for anyone who does handcrafts. While the author, Liza Laird, specifically talks about knitting, I imagine that anyone who uses their hands for creative projects could use this book. I enjoyed it very much.

I loved it. Joy Harmony is truly a Wise Woman, integrating life experience, her art and her own reflections that will resonate with me for a long time.

The Book Thief is brilliant. It is about a girl living in Germany just before and during WW II and it is narrated by Death. The story follows Liesl and her adoptive family and friends as they navigate the changes of this time while not agreeing with the Nazi party. It is a heartbreaking read that reflects the beauty of humanity in contrast to it’s worst depravity.

I have been wanting to read this for a while and now I need a woman verses the mountain kind of read, so it's time. Finished the first chapeter and I love it.

Less than 100 pages to go to finish it and I love it. It was a great pick for a summer read.
