Slowly working through this...skimmed past some of the gorier descriptions this time because I started to feel queasy.
I wonder if anyone will try to ban this book. Feels more dystopian and critique than straight up "horror" genre so far, though obviously the content is horrifying.

I like that the narrator has some flaws. I have no idea how he's going to break through with this main character. The descriptions of psycho therapists seems pretty believable, speaking from experience. A mistake was quoting Winnicot twice in the span of 50 pages. That really broke my immersion... lol. It suddenly felt like he was writing a college paper on psychology
