How far along did you realize that the entire physical book is meant to resemble Navidson’s house? I was so removed and preoccupied with solving the mystery of these characters that I failed to realize I am also stuck in Navidson’s house, unsure if the next page is the correct step forward or if the way out was in fact a few chapters ago…

i would like to thank nora sakavic for writing the one franchise to make me, at 18, 19, and 20, feel exactly like i did at 12, 13, 14 swallowing every page, score, fanfic, movie, edit, and interview to come out of divergent. i genuinely did not think it was possible to feel that kind of ecstatic neurosis as an adult.
