At this point, I feel this must have been the most extraordinary science fiction novel that I have read to date. The balance is the key. The scientific rigor in this book is just sufficient for the fantasy novel!! Star trek fans would definitely enjoy this book

The book provides a distilled version of the works on the inquisition by the papacy. The author broadly highlights the plight of heretics, mostly puritans. One can read Henry Charles Lea's seven volumes for a rigorous reading on the horrors of the inquisition.

The age of skepticism is to be thanked for that we may keep the blood in our veins!!
