This book is so beautifully written.

“A portion of the lid fell down the shaft, and when she could not hear a splash Vitrine shrugged and allowed herself to tumble head long in as well. This is how you conquer new worlds she thought as she fell. This is how you break yourself into 1000 pieces that are all equally wrong and unloved.”

So many poetic mentions of what could have been.

So far I’m only really enjoying the cats perspective. So far the book is pretty sad and it makes me wonder if I should even keep reading it.

I’m hooked. Line and sinker. This gives so much more background information that’s not included in the movies 🎈

So far I’m not sure if I like the main characters energy or not. As of right now she seems a bit spoiled and self entitled.
