Managed to tenuously argue that reading this was research for my Creative Writing project, and within the first chapter it’s given me an idea which will make my project far more impactful. Take that, reading as a writer!

Rereading this as inspiration for my Creative Writing piece - what a great decision.

I really don’t like books without speech marks, so I’m going to have to drag myself through this one kicking and screaming.

Zophia asked if we could read this straight after The Great Fire and I wasn’t going to say no!
