Same impressions as another reviewer’s. I began to be very bored with the story about halfway into it, kept reading hoping that something other than the minute details of the endless building projects and broken implements and tools was still ahead — the nitty gritty of the story. I also wanted to hear more of the interpersonal context, but it was more like reading a carpenter’s diary. It was a waste of my time.
