this book is so so so so bad. like maybe it isn't fair to review it when i'm also reading wuthering heights again but idgaf. you could call it purple prose but it's so corny that this doesn't even begin to cover it. every other sentence is so dramatic and overwritten and so clearly meant to be screenshotted and posted out of context on twitter or in some tumblr webweaving post. you arent anne carson bro stop trying
